Windows 7 arrived a few days ago. It's pretty good, some compatibility issues, but those'll hopefully be solved by the time Service Pack 1 comes out, and they're usually with freeware games. Except for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, but that's been having issues since it came out, so I can't really blame Microsoft for that. I went into a bit more detail on my blog. (Yes, I have a blog now, like just about everyone else on the planet. Whee, conformity!) I'm significantly more foul-mouthed there, as it's kind of my dumping-ground for my rage-flavored emotions, but if anyone wants to take a look, it's at [link] . And by "anyone", I mean "Tiff", since you're still my only watcher. Glad to hear you're doing alright, by the way.
And as for college, well... Due to a combination of a poorly-timed flu, and a bout of depression (which I'm still battling), I ended up missing my midterms, and am now on a crash-course with failing all of my classes. My dad is none too happy, and I'm running out of options. My last resort is going back to live with Mom, but she and I butted heads enough when I was still there because I had to be, and going back to Big Bear does not seem like the most success-engendering idea. I've gotten my first writing commission (a novella for a friend), but it's going to be a while until I finish it, and even then, it won't be a whole lot of money. I've got a couple long shots, but I'm swiftly running out of ideas, and funds. Still got plenty of money on my meal plan, and rent's taken care of until the quarter ends, but I've only got about $150 cash left. Funny how that seemed like so much money a month ago.
I don't know what's going to happen next, but I'll handle it. I've always done best during tests anyways.
